Definition

To set these properties, use the examples for the specific contexts in N2 01 through N2 04. Check as many "yes" values as applicable. If in doubt, just leave the property value(s) unset, and contact us via email.

This property will be "yes" if the noun itself undergoes changes in form dependent on definiteness. Different form here is construed broadly and covers: a different phonological form, or the addition of some marker immediately preceding or following the noun.

Examples:
1.
English is "no" for this property.

2.
No "yes" examples yet.
Possibly case affixes could play a role here. Let us know if your language is a candidate for the "yes" value of this property. We will then add it as example in the property definition.
